Our cups runneth over with the juice of real Tasmanian fruits: apples and cherries and berries and more. Our handcrafted Tasmanian premium ciders really celebrate the seasons.
Apple Cider
4.5% alc/vol
She’ll be apples! Four different kinds, in fact, are blended into our pure, elegantly refreshing, thirst-quenching apple cider — granny smith, gala, golden delicious and jonathon. A great all-rounder.
Tasting notes:
A sparkling apple cider with beautiful clarity and champagne-like bubbles. Fresh apple aromas with an effervescent apple tang and a lingering medium-dry finish. Serve well chilled.
Pear Cider
4.5% alc/vol
Our fresh new pear blend features a wonderful profusion of gorgeous pears — a merry jumble of old world and new world favourites, grown in rich Tassie soil: packham, beurre bosc, Josephine, Doyenné Du Comice and winter cole. A dash of apple cider keeps all the creamy lushness in the ‘Goldilocks’ zone: not too sweet, not too dry … just right.
Tasting notes:
An enticing pear cider cut with a splash of apple cider. Spicy pear flesh and skin on the nose, with opulent pear flavours nicely balanced by a crunchy apple zip. Lovely on its own, or paired with spicy cuisines.
Cherry Cider
8% alc/vol
Uniquely Tasmanian, our Cerise (French for ‘cherry’) is a purely Pagan innovation: a bewitching blend of rich dark cherry juice (from plump cherries grown in the orchard beside the cellar door) and dry apple cider.
Tasting notes:
A lush blend of cherry juice and dry apple cider, with a spicy perfumed nose and claret/burgundy hues. The palate hums with dark cherries and plums, with rich Christmas fruit cake notes. Great with crumbly cheddar.
Seasonal Small-Batch Blends
Throughout the year we also produce small-run blends, available from our cellar door in the Huon Valley, as well as a select few venues. These blends are highly sought, strictly limited-release, and sell out quickly.
Quince
8% alc/vol
An ambrosial, savoury blend of dry apple cider and fragrant quince. A celebratory tipple, begging for a champagne flute, and perhaps a cheese platter.
Blueberry
8% alc/vol
Simply exquisite, this blushing beauty is blended from plump Tassie blueberries and dry apple cider, with exquisite notes of blueberry, violet and rose petal.
Apricot
8% alc/vol
The world is full of surprises! This intriguing drop looks innocent enough, but an intense apricot bouquet gives the game away. Venture deep and you’ll discover a perfectly balanced blend of pure apple cider fleshed out with the rich, round, characterful notes of real tree-ripened Tasmanian apricots.
Peach
8% alc/vol
Such a pretty complexion, and is that a subtle hint of citrus on the nose? In this special limited-release blend, a fine backdrop of apple cider plays a strong supporting role, allowing the enchanting flavour, sweetness and refreshing acidity of sun-kissed Tasmanian peaches to shine and soar.
